HASS, a global leader in dental prosthetic restorative materials, signed a support agreement on August 26, 2025,
with Friends of Cambodia and Komiso Hospital.
The agreement was established as part of a social contribution initiative aimed
at improving the healthcare environment for low-income communities
in Cambodia and contributing to regional development through mutual trust and cooperation.

Founded in 2007 following medical volunteer activities,
Friends of Cambodia has been led primarily by dentists, dental professionals,
and teachers from the Busan and Gyeongnam regions of Korea.
The organization has continuously supported underprivileged communities in Cambodia through medical services,
scholarship programs, educational initiatives, vocational training, and the operation of a free hospital.
Over the years, scholarship recipients have grown to become nurses and doctors.
In addition, Father Jihun Kim—who has operated a vocational school since 2004—became the hospital director and established Komiso Hospital in 2022.
In recognition of these achievements, Friends of Cambodia received the 12th Lee Tae‑seok Service Award in 2023.
Some employees of HASS have also supported Friends of Cambodia and Komiso Hospital since their early stages.
Through this agreement, the company has expanded these efforts to an organization-wide initiative, enabling more systematic and sustainable cooperation.
In particular, in 2022 HASS supported the purchase of essential equipment
—including dental prosthetic milling machines—to help low-income Cambodian patients who could not afford prosthetic dental treatment.
This support enabled the local production of zirconia crowns, allowing more patients to benefit from necessary treatment.

HASS has also selected and trained local staff as dental technicians, contributing to the establishment of a sustainable healthcare environment.
This new agreement aims to further expand these initiatives.
HASS plans to continue providing practical support tailored to local needs,
going beyond simple material donations to actively contribute to improving community health.
HASS has already carried out various social contribution activities, including regular rice donations to orphanages in the Gangwon region,
support for regional dental care centers for people with disabilities,
and contributions to the development of Pusan National University Dental Hospital.
The company has also made donations to organizations
such as Korean Society for 3D Printing in Medicine, UNICEF Korea Committee,
Médecins Sans Frontières, and Community Chest of Korea (Gangwon branch).
Moving forward, HASS (Human Aid System Supplier) will continue to fulfill its social responsibility as a company that contributes to humanity
by carrying out sharing and support initiatives both domestically and internationally.
